"Oh to be in Paris, under a moonlit sky, singing on a street corner for you, with my minstrel friends as people pass by" - Kelly Auty
As a teenager Kelly experienced French culture, music, food and language with her great friend Sylvie and la famille (her family) at their home in Melbourne, Australia. Four years later Kelly's dad took her to audition for the Canberra Opera Society where Kelly sang in the chorus for three years. Simultaneously she studied classical voice which included the lead role in Bizet's Carmen, with Welsh Tenor, David Parker. This experience led her to a passion for languages and French chanson.

Years later, at the request of fans and her family to make a French album, Kelly and Sylvie chose the repertoire embracing Edith Piaf, Eartha Kitt, Charles Aznavour and Patricia Kaas. Mademoiselle Chante is a plush, dynamic recording to lift the spirit. Instrumentation is piano, horn section, guitar, piano accordion, bass, drums and percussion with beautiful big backing vocals. Jouir!
